There are very few moments in life were you can lay down in bed, smile at you ceiling and be completely joyful about the sitchuation you are in. At leased thats how it seams. i spent the last three months sweating blood over stress of school, girls, God, and now i can smile and calmly think about life without the little axe murderer on my sholder. But the one thing that i noticed when i sit in my bed, thinking about how great life is at the moment, is how there is nothing for me to do at all. All of my stress has been caused by my goals in life, and once those goals were completed, i find myself at the mercy of facebook and Xbox. don't get me wrong, i do enjoy not being stressed, but i made me think about how we as humans, as much as we would say otherwise, love the feeling of pressur guaging against our sholders, pushing us deeper into whatever hole we had dug ourselfs in. It is all internal, and more than a moments thought will get you to be thinking other wise, but the fact remains that as i sit smiling in my bed, enjoying life. I am waiting for just another thing to pop us, and to get in my way of 'perfect' living.

I love movies more than i have ever loved them before. Not because of the action, though i am in love with action, or because of the drama, already have enough of that, but because of the story behind each movie. I recently went over the old classic movies with the intention of finding what made them so amazing and i found it. Story has such an impact on our lives that, even with amazing action and poetic lines from lovers, if the story line is not epic, then the movie fails. I couldn't tell you why, but I know its true.
This is the reason why I love reading. For some reason, books have always been able to reach further into a story than movies have. It may have to do with the fact that a book can go into more detail, or the fact that you are able to picture everything, instead of it being pictured for you. Whatever the reason, I have always found myself reading the book before i see the movie. Why? Only because of story.
Story defines our lives. Why? because us a humans demand action. Now not everyone is thriving for explosions and near death experiences, and I'm not talking about sex ether, I'm talking about a life more exciting, different, lovable than our own. How do we find that alien life? Through books, movies, magazines, day dreams.
If you were expecting to read a life changing blog about the story of a life then you have come to the wrong place. There are plenty of books which read off that subject. I just find it interesting that because we (humans) are not content with our lives, we fill our heads with fantasies of other peoples so we can subconsciously live that life. So we can remove ourselves from where we are or to simply create peace where there is none. Whichever the reason, story, because its story, is the most addicting thing on earth. And i love it.
